Today is the last day to to register for the 34th Annual Valentine's Two Mile Labor of Love Run, one of greater Cincinnati's more unique races. The deadline for Mail entries ended yesterday. • DATE: Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Open to All.
  
• TIME: 12 Noon.
  
• PLACE: Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY.
  
• PRE-REGISTRATION: Early Registration ends Tuesday February 11,2014.
  
• PACKET PICK-UP: The Running Spot, Newport, Saturday, February 15, 2014 1 - 3 PM or at NKU day of race beginning at 10:30 AM.
• DIRECTIONS: 471 ends at 27, go straight through light. Turn right at next light (NKU). Take first left, then first right.
  
• COURSE: 2 mile course beginning at Albright Health Center.

Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk Cancelled for This Saturday February 8

After talking with Boone County parks on Thursday February 6, the trails are covered with snow and ice. Boone County Parks has closed the trail and will not allow us to hold the Winter Wonderland 5k race this Saturday, February 8th at 10:00am. The club will be calling all pre-registered race participants and posting notices on many sites, including emails to go out. We are very sorry for the inconvenience but it is out of the RCGC's hands at this point. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk - this Saturday February 8

Join the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati at the Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk this Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. at England / Idlewild Park in Burlington KY. The top 25 males and top 25 females to cross the finish line will receive a 16oz commemorative glass mug! Race Day Registration opens at 8:30 AM at the shelter #1 which is on the left as you come in the park. Race starts at 10:00 AM. See you there! You still have time to sign up early and beat the price increase.

• INFORMATION: The Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati will host a 5k run and walk this Saturday, February 8, 2014 at England/Idlewild Park in Burlington, KY. Race Day Registration opens at 8:30 AM. Race day registration will be $20.00 for Club members and $25.00 for general public. Awards go to the top overall male and female runners, and top overall male and female walkers. Come have fun with other Club members and meet some new runners and walkers - bring a friend along! Winter Wonderland 5k POSTPONED - RESCHEDULED for February 8

The club contacted Boone County Parks Friday afternon and they stated that  the trails are completely covered with more snow coming.  They are closing the trail and will not allow the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati to hold the Winter Wonderland 5k race on Saturday January 25th.
We will be rescheduling the race for Saturday, February 8th at 10:00am. All pre-registered race participants will be contacted Friday afternoon and we will be posting notices on many sites. We are sorry for the inconvenience but it really is out if RCGC's hands at this point. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
